Simple but Arduous is
Attaining Awareness,
Go to woods,
Listen to the incomprehensible
Sermons of Godmen,
Read millions of scriptures
Sit together with saints and monks
Force yourself to darkness
By shutting eyes
Settle yourself in some monastery
Lose yourself in idol worship or prayers
Do one or all of
These acts and deeds
You would never get
Spontaneous AWARENESS,
You have to be watchful of
Your words spoken or written,
Your snobbish designs
Your fear
Your greed
Your Anxieties
Your feel of guilt,
AND when you transcend
All that
Happens awareness...

सचेतना...

सरल किन्तु दुरूह भी है
पाना सचेतना को,
चले जाईये
जंगलों में
सुनते रहिये भाषण
धर्मबाजों के
पढ़ डालिए
शास्त्र सहस्रों,
करते रहिये
नित्य सत्संग,
मुंड कर आँखें अपनी
थोपिए अंधकार स्वयं पर
अथवा खो जाईये
पूजा व प्रार्थना में,
करिये एक या एकाधिक
कार्य इन में से
किन्तु नहीं है
आवश्यक
हो जाना घटित
सहज बोध का,
सजग देखना होगा
हम-तुम को
अपने कथनों उप कथनों को
भय को
लोभ को
अहमजन्य व्यवहार को
दुश्चिंताओं और आकुलताओं को
अपराध भाव को,
हो जाने से परे
इन सब से
होगी घटित
सचेतना
अथवा
जागरूकता....
